Town Hall: 10 Years After Aliso Canyon — What’s Still in the Air?

The disaster didn’t end in 2016. For 111 days, a polytoxic soup blanketed our community—and the risks didn’t vanish. If you live, work, or raise kids in the San Fernando Valley, you need to know what’s still in the air and what you can do about it.

Why attend

  • Researchers from the UCLA Health Study: Where the UCLA health study stands, what it’s seeing.

  • Experts from the Argos Fenceline Community Air Monitoring Project: Real monitoring, real numbers. See how the Argos independent Fenceline monitoring tracks today’s air and how you can access the data yourself.

  • Current risk, not history. Why the Aliso Canyon facility remains a danger to families, schools, and property values—and what’s being done (or not).

  • Representatives from the Porter Ranch Neighborhood Council

  • Community voices who have stood strong since day one

  • Action you can take now. Practical steps for home air safety and detox by Kyoko Hibino, SPR founder and Wellness Architect from HappiLuxe Design
